Thief / lvl30 Ninja jobstone

Thief / lvl30 Ninja jobstone
In a closed society where everybody's guilty, the only crime is getting caught.
In a world of thieves, the only final sin is stupidity.

Reading all these classes/jobs everyone mentioned...THE NOSTALGIA!!!
Incorporate them all!

1) Dancer. I had never heard of this before this thread. But now I want it. Badly. Especially for my lalafell healer.
2) Red Mage. Because it sounds fun.
3) Thief. Because I keep getting asked what the thief class is in this game, and people are confused when I say it doesn't have one.

I wish I could find the interview/notes but Yoshi said Red mage would be the one class he wish he could add to the game, but due to balance reasons (no hybrids allowed), Red mage will not make it to this game. Unless they allow hybrids or completely butcher what it means to be a red mage, we won't see it.

I want to see a job that requires a DoL or DoH sub to unlock. That would be interesting. Maybe even two subs, like THF at 30, plus BTN and MRD at 15 to unlock NIN. BTN's stealth ability then becomes a Sneak Attack ability, allowing you to disappear from a mob's sight and reappear behind him for extra damage.
Edit: Had another idea on this. Convert Arbor Call to Mark for Death, which allows you to see and mark mobs blocked by objects or the environment. You get extra damage to marked mobs. And if you combine it with Brunt Force, the PT gets an exp boost that goes up 20% with every chain kill.

This has to be one of the most logical things i have yet to read in the forums.

sword master (2h sword user) > dark knight/samurai
pugilist > dancer
thief (dagger) > ninja (twin dagger)
conjurer > geomancer (dps/debuffer role)
i think redmage will be the tier 2 jobs not before we get more class that are needer like gun, 2h sword and dagger. musketeer will surely become available when we will get closer of the empire and get acces to more interesting technologie.

Yes! I have been thinking the same thing. DoL classes need to have cross role uses. I have been trying to think what would make the most sense, but I am still not sure. Miner and Pugilist maybe? Archer and Botanist? Fisher and .... I don't know. Arcanist. Hah.I want to see a job that requires a DoL or DoH sub to unlock. That would be interesting. Actually just last weekend at PAX Yoshi stated that they are looking to bring several classes, including Red Mage. It sounded like Red Mage would be a two tier that requires Black and White to unlock. He also said 8 months or so ago that he really was hoping to bring stealth classes like Ninja.I wish I could find the interview/notes but Yoshi said Red mage would be the one class he wish he could add to the game, but due to balance reasons (no hybrids allowed), Red mage will not make it to this game. Dark knight of course
Time mage?
Ninja
Samurai
Thief
Also we need hybrid sword mages(Red mage/Blue mage)

Not really on topic but I think some what a valid question. With the 4 player party system with a tank, 2 dps, and healer how would a support job/hybrid be implemented? I can see how it would possibly work in larger groups, but in dungeons that rely in the 2 dps, I don't understand how a support job would be playable.
