Jobs & Classes you'd like to see in the future

Just as the thread says. I'm curious what people would think.

I'd really like a blue mage class that builds out of arcanist, but uses gladiator as the secondary.

Or a corsair, since there are guns.

I'm just curious since I had this chat with my friend and we spent a long while talking about it.

alternate roles for the classes that don't have them yet (everything but arcanist)

marauder -> berserker (dps)
gladiator -> dark knight (dps)
lancer -> templar (tank)
pugilist -> bouncer (tank)
conjurer -> geomancer (dps)
thaumaturge -> necromancer (healer?)
archer -> ranger (dps i guess?)

and I kinda assume they'll surprise us before long with musketeer -> corsair/something

would love to see blue mage though :s

Necro would most likely be a leech class that i think SE should make

Y'know what I lied, there are a ton of classes I want to see.

1. Dancer
2. Mystic Knight
3. Red Mage
4. Geomancer
5. Thief
6. Dark Knight

Musketeer is already in the works, so that goes without saying.

But, Red Mage really seems to be the popular choice. And i'd like to think that they'd add it soon based on the popularity.
I can't wait to see how they butcher the AF though.

The Musketeer Guild is found next to the Marauder Guild in Coral Tower. In 1.0 the Musketeer guild had their own building but is move next to Marauder Guild in 2.0. Yoshi-P has been trying to get Musketeer into the game since 1.0.

You got it backwards. Musketeers didn't move, the Marauders did. Musketeers have always been in the Coral Tower. Marauder's Guild was on the docked pirate ship Astalicia (which is still there, but now there's nothing of interest there any more). The Musketeers were built around the Knights of the Barracuda. What happened to them? I was expecting them to take the place in the Limsa storyline that the Sultansworn had in Ul'dah and God's Quiver in Gridania, but instead I did the level 15 quest fighting beside the Yellowjackets (whom I had pegged as being the equivalent of the Brass Blades and the Wood Wailers). Looking back, I'm not sure there's been *any* mention of the Barracuda in the present day (there are references to them having been at the battle of Carteneau). Have they been written out of the story?
