It is easy to maximize Bard's dps but Bard is more than dps. It's part support. It has more responsibility than the other dps jobs.

Bard is most tricky when you're trying to balance support and dps. Leaving Mage's Ballad up longer than needed severely hurts your dps and hurts the group overall. You have to pay close attention to the healer's MP.

Umm.. that's.. not hard to do. At all.
