And you are like those idiots that never read the OP and always miss the point, since he never talked about the game being short, and nothing that can be compared to that.
Try again, this topic has nothing to do about rushing to 50.

Forgive me but this is the second release of this title. That said... SE cannot afford to be having issues like this. Players dont want to wait in ques for 30+ min when thats all there is to do at lvl 50 aside from rolling another class/job. Personally I would like to progress my character but in the games current state it is impossible.
This is mostly a community issue, not SE's. There's a reason you get almost no waiting as a tank or healer, and it's not the code. Even before the changes using the DF as a DPS meant having a long wait to get in.
I mean, what do you propose to fix this? That SE forces players to use healers and tanks?
@ OP: I totally agree that there is a problem if you're having to wait 25+ minutes as a pre-made group to get into the instance.
Forgive me, however, but it seemed like your post suggested that you have to wait about 1 minute as a tank to get into the instance. Granted, I'm only level 42 at the moment on CNJ, so I don't know first hand what the experience is for AK, however it seems like what you're complaining about is that as a tank/premade you have to wait 1 minute to get into the instance.
That seems a little extreme to me.
Now, if premades and tanks/healers start having to wait 25-35 (or longer) due specifically to the instance servers being full that long, then we have a problem.
Edit: for context, I was a consistent player of WoW when ICC was released, and I actually experienced the instance server problems on that game at that time. I agree that if pre-made groups are facing Queues or being prevented from entering an instance, that it's a pretty big problem for a game in general.

AGAIN... im a Warrior... not a DPS and this is NOT about the que for forming parties but the que for the actual instance once the group is already full....... How many stupid people are there on these forum that cannot even read what the post is about before they type. This is mostly a community issue, not SE's. There's a reason you get almost no waiting as a tank or healer, and it's not the code. Even before the changes using the DF as a DPS meant having a long wait to get in.

Yes, that's true. The reason they shrank the server group size was because the duty finder servers were being overloaded by the number of queued players they had to handle. Smaller group sizes and an increased number of duty finder servers alleviates that issue. They stated they increased the number of instance servers but reduced the number of server per group thus reducing the number of potential people queing in any give group.
They didn't need to shrink the server group size to increase the instance servers... they simple needed to add more servers.
The smaller group sizes doesn't have any effect on the wait time to enter a dungeon with a full party, in any case. That wait is purely determined by whether you are able to reserve an instance or not, which is completely dependent on the number of available instance servers.
I was thinking along similar lines. Would it not be possible to have all the instances be able to share a pool of available servers? It seems like it's allocating a set number of servers to each instance at the moment, otherwise we would expect to be experiencing these problems for all instances, not just the few that most people are trying to run.It is interesting that it isn't just hardware bound, i.e. how much hardware do we have available for running instances, but also software bound i.e. AK gets only a maximum of 1K concurrent instances even if there is hardware available to support more. This means that it may be an easier fix than bringing in more hardware.
Of course, that's just speculation, but I do hope SE either adds more instance servers or finds some other way to alleviate the wait players seem to be having for these dungeons.
Ah, then sorry about that I'm so used to read about the long waiting times I didn't read the part you said about "once the group is formed"
But 15-20 waiting time? For every dungeon? That's a long time I haven't encountered that kind of wait using the DF. Perhaps it's a bug where the DF "searches" even with the group full. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
PS: I would suggest you edit the OP so you can be a little more clear on the issue. I understand that some of us aren't reading the whole post and that it isn't your fualt but just a suggestion.
yes, even with pre made party DF takes ages. it worked far better in beta and first week. now its totaly broken 30 min + IF it works.
