Just heard I need to do 64 runs of AK just for basic gear... should I just quit?

Darklight gear full set is basically common requirement for DPS to join titan hunt party in my server... so yup, you ONLY need to run AK for "64 times" before you can meet current standard requirement for some boss farming party!

If you dislike working hard(crafting/gathering) and running dungeons for your "gear" then I`m 100% sure this is not the game for you.

So 1 I will say get a good FC, and you will learn full DL isnt needed for titan, but it is nice to have, 1/2 darklight 1/2 AK is more then enough.

2, take your time, by the time 2.1 gets here you should aim to have had atleast 1/2 DL and 1/2 AK gear to start tower and further progression. At 2.1 I believe we will also see a few more lv50 dungeon content which will most likely give alternatives to AK.

Game is new, we are missing tiers of gear and to progress right now you must grind. just take your time till missing parts come out, or take a break from the game till it comes out if you do not like the massive grind that it is now.

Why would someone need to wait for crystal tower, a 24 man raid, to get gear to do coil of bahamut...

CoB is an 8 man instance that drops iLVL 90 item sets. Tomestones of mythology buy iLVL 90 sets. Tomestones of mythology DROP in CoB. You do not NEED full ilvl 90 gear to start CoB. People are already doing CoB. Tomestones of mythology have only been available for what... 2.5 weeks. Cap is 300 per week. Yes, some people got extra, but they didnt get THOUSANDS. More like an extra 300-600 so thats one piece of ilvl 90. If they capped each time, they maybe have two or three cheap pieces. Or a relic weapon...

The ilvl SIXTY gear is uncapped. You can hold 2k philosophy, and they drop in several areas... Not just amdapor.

Why do so many people on these forums flip out over things that are not even true? This info is out there. I have never wanted to tell an MMO playerbase to lern2play more strongly.

Guys you are playing MMO's not a single player. MMO are ment to be played over months not just 2 weeks and i have max gear, its not working that way. If you want everything as fast as possible MMO's are nothing for you and also plz leave the genre, i would love to have the old communities back.
