Guys you are playing MMO's not a single player. MMO are ment to be played over months not just 2 weeks and i have max gear, its not working that way. If you want everything as fast as possible MMO's are nothing for you and also plz leave the genre, i would love to have the old communities back.

I'm not expecting it to be quick. What I am expecting is for it not to be a chore.

This what I think people don't understand. I've done AK more than 50 times already which is a lot. Before the nerf it was boring but it was fine. 30 minute runs, no mindless trash grind, just boss kills. Not exactly fun, but not awful either. Now it takes 45 minutes to clear the place normally and they added more trash than there was before with no increase to rewards. It's a total grind that I only plan on doing 8 times a week for my cap on T2 tokens. Started doing CM and I feel bad for anyone that plans on running that for story mode because people are just 'speed running' it now too(myself included). This results in 100 t1 tokens for a mindless grind for about 50 minutes of time.

The problem? Variety and no surprise. For T2 tokens, if you want to hit cap every week, you need to do AK 8 times. Primals are not an option, even though they're basically more challenging, because they drop too few tokens. AK you run and you know you're doing it for just tokens, and after getting all the gear there, nothing can drop for you to better yourself. It's stupid. Primals at least you could get a weapon out of it but the token drops are so low it's not worth it.

Solution? Just increase token drops for Primals. Not by a ton but by a factor to put you on par with the same token/time ratio that AK would give you. That was we have more options to better ourselves and aren't grinding that one same dungeon over and over and over. I've said it before, just do 20/10 for ifrit and 40/20 for garuda. Titan can be 50/25-30. It would really allow people to farm something else other than AK and actually maybe get a weapon instead of passing on gear every run.

Yes, it is. At the same rate it also requires Tomestones of Mythology since some of the items requires for that can only be acquired with those

You mean Philosophy. Which you can do some castrum runs or buy the mats from the AH. Regardless, Darklight is not the only form of gear for progression.

I currently need crafted earrings and bracer.

the earrings require 1125 tome of philosophy

the braclets require 2250 tome of philosophy

not to mention other materials as well.

And now the recipes are even more expensive than darklight. I mean you need 7 cokes for a Darksteel Ingot!?!?!?!?, and each coke is 100 tomes?!?!?!?!? that makes Darksteel armor more expensive to farm/get, and makes no sense. I Rather get darklight instead.

Unless your from 1.0 and have tons of Coke left and can afford to blew a few trying to get HQ.
