It's likely new tech for them. We don't have an inherent ability to understand everything about something just because someone else might know it. We wouldn't need schools if that were the case. Maybe I'm just out of the loop on this shared ability humanity has though.

? Are you saying that you literally cannot get into dungeons in DF ever? Like even after waiting 10hrs, it will never work for you? Since that's what would happen if something actually "PREVENTS" you from doing something. It blocks you completely. Now, as I'm sure it'll be taken out of context, that 10hrs was an exaggeration to emphasize a point.
