Remove auto-logout feature

feedback. Lets see so far i have been called "greedy" "Selfish" Self-entitled" and told to "kill myself." Yes, these are those stellar people that SE should be listening.

This is not a industry standard, i have never played a mmo that auto kicked you; The whole rationality behind it is kinda sad.

Being against the auto kick is 100% selfish, cant deny that. It is placing your desires, not even your needs, above what is good for the general population.
Even without server load implications, the game is unquestionably better off with an auto kick. You personally may not be, but if it means less times where a duty finder formation times out because of an afk dps the majority benefits.

Kill yourself is going to far, but its just a stupid expression people use these days.

It's selfish? I think facebook has warped your brain, You shouldn't care what i'm doing. The world would be a far better place if everyone just worried about them and stopped getting up in other peoples business. It's selfish of you to judge me and falls on a self-entitled social ideology to think you have the right to judge how someone should play a game. No one does care what you're doing, unless that "what" is posting on an official forum that the devs read. Then it is others' business what you do since you are making it their business.

I laughed at "less than stellar." In any case calling someone a 12 year old never helps your case.

I wouldn't consider someone a selfish person for wanting to afk, only that they are acting selfishly in this instance. I did the same when 1017 was rampant.

I was a supporter of the AFK auto-logoff, but more so for a login queue that worked. Since the maintenance last week, I've only been queued a couple of times, and I haven't been more than #5 in queue. As such, I've stopped leaving my computer turned on 24 hours a day running FFXIV. I'm sure I'm not alone in this boat, and this only improved the situation.

Now that things are fixed, who cares if people stay logged in. I suppose all you people who didn't care enough to login in the morning and leave your PC on, feel like you've been wronged in some way by the people who took action to ensure they were able to play.
