Gear check would be nice also.

For example you should be required to have 5 pieces of ilvl 55 before going to AK and Garuda, 5 piece of ilvl 60 for titan, 5 pieces of ilvl 70 for CoB

There is a quest in The Bannocks that did this (at lvl 5/10), there should be similar ones before getting the quests for those fights/dungeons.

I'm against any kind of gear check in principle, gear is secondary to skill. AK can easily be done in fresh level 50 gear.

Yea I am aware that it can be done by skill, but we need something in place to keep the idiots in check, it might sound harsh but I think players should put effort into gearing up their character otherwise it only means the rest of the party have to pick up the slack, especially if that person sucks at skill as well as gear.

Harsh gearcheck for endgame DF is very bad idea. It shouldnt exceed the AF gear, ilvl 45 weapon and ilvl 40 accessories.
If u want gearchecked party use /shout.

Gear check should be on the quests not the duty finder, as you are required to do the quest prior to accessing the dungeon it would make perfect sense.

You can still end up with under geared players even when you shout for a party.
