Harsh gearcheck for endgame DF is very bad idea. It shouldnt exceed the AF gear, ilvl 45 weapon and ilvl 40 accessories.
If u want gearchecked party use /shout.

Unmanaged vote kick is a very bad idea. Too much elitist dbags running endgame DF.

The only option is live GM support that weeds out toxic players from DF. The only punishable behaviours should be afk, refusing to play, trolling and any way of trying to force someone to leave, also pressuring to skip cutscenes, flaming and refusing to communicate with team

GM intervention is just flat-out unreasonable. Vote-kicks work fine in every other game, they'd work fine here too. While there is a very-minor potential for abuse (majority of the group queued together and are purposely kicking people just to be mean), the benefits far, far outweigh that. Needs of the many, omelettes, eggs, etc.
