I ran 10 level 49 fates. My total gil income was around 900 gil (90x10). I went to repair the equipped gear, it was just around 1700.

So I am losing money at a rate of 70 gil per fate.

I crafted 100 walnut lumber, after I had gathered 300 walnut logs.

I sold the 100 walnut lumber to NPC for 1 gil each. I made a total of 100 gil. My repair cost for botany to gather the logs and carpentry to make the lumber cost a total of around 400 gil.

I lost 300 gil crafting and I didn't buy a thing.

I did a level 44 dungeon run, smooth as silk. Total money made was just around 330 gil. My repair cost was around 800 gil.

I lost 470 gil.

So, in summary, my total net income/loss on gil for an average 3 hour play session cost me 1570 gil.

Luckily, I have over 250k gil stocked up because I am very conservative and never transport or buy anything. But at this current rate, I will COMPLETLY RUN OUT OF GIL by 160 days... that's less than half a year.
