Okay, been a long time since I posted in this thread, but since this is starting to look like the official feedback thread more and more everyday ...

Here it goes ... sorry if it has been said ...

"AoE Indicator vs Lag" aka "Still gets hit after running out of AoE zone"

One of the issue I am having, and I know this is because of how I have HUD setup as default on this, is the AoE GFX is usually way too slow for a player to actually have time to react to due to lag. As many players has indicated, the ONLY way to be 100% sure you can avoid an AoE skill, is by watching the casting scale and you run out of the AoE zone before it reaches the end.

The major issue players, myself included, have on this is we are usually paying most of our attention to the monster and party bars when we are in battle, and our eyes aren't consistently fixed to the monster's HP bar. But that is where the casting bar shows up.

My suggestion here is, break out the mob casting bar, or if not possible, give us a 2nd mob casting bar, so we can move that bar to where our eyes are most likely to be focusing on. For an example, original HP bar stays on top, but a 2nd mob casting bar can be placed right above our own HP bar. This should allow us to have a much quicker battle-to-eye indication so we can react within the 2.5 seconds allowed and not be worrying about lags killing 2 seconds and wonder why we are still losing 1/2 of our HP even tho we ran at least 10 steps out of the AoE zone. Btw, this happened to me quite often during the Titan battle.

    HTHs.

Had this same problem myself, and was getting incredibly frustrated with it. The solution I found was, when entering a fight with heavy hitting AOE, to turn all of my in-game shadows off. Did that, and killed Titan on the first try after wiping probably 30 times due to the healer (me) getting knocked off. Something about the way the game engine draws the circles is slowed down by shadows, I guess.
