This, with Balmung too. I have a friend that's been trying to get into Balmung since the second day of Phase 4, and has yet to be able to create a character.Um... Maybe this would help just a bit. I want something next to the servers during character creation to tell you which servers have a high population. I say this because I did not realize that having Excalibur as my main server would basically mean that any friends I have will not get to play with me as they are just now joining the game. They can't make a character there because it is almost always full. We don't have time to sit and wait for it to open while hitting the refresh icon every three minutes. Even after the server fixes it is still not allowing new characters. At this point I am very disappointed. I'm waiting for it to get fixed so I can actually play with my friends and trying to be patient but... I'm just waiting because I have no other choice.
Option to disable tooltip
For the Free Company window, can we have an overview that shows all the classes/levels all members have. Like in the old linkshell community for ffxi. That'll make it easier to organize events. It's tedious to right click info each and every one.
Pop up for procs. (Shield slam proc'd and ready? I need to know!)
Currently it's a massive pain to know if it proc'd or not. I like a tiny UI with a 3x1 block for these skills just
so I know it's available for use.
Also add customization to UI bars in terms of how many in the row etc. I can't stand empty spaces!
I actually agree with almost everything on this list (some don't affect how I play but I can see others wanting them).
This game is highly polished and clean but it does lack a lot of the little things that have crept into these games over the genre's history - things I expect to see in a new and modern MMORPG.
I didn't see the ability to untrack quests on duty list - but it must've been mentioned.
Stats for tooltip compare exist in the game's settings but its dimmed out - which makes little sense. Manually comparing gear all the time is barbaric.
A good list of suggestions. I would also like to see an option to keep my chat box active during cut scenes, some of them are pretty long. An example here is; I just killed Garuda but could not thank my group because i was put instantly into a cutscene and chat box disappeared, by the time my CS was over the other group members had left.
Oh and an option to hide earrings please, i look like Pat Butcher -.-

Some of my own,
Gamplay
-Add <call> placeholders from ffxi so we can alert people who are tunnel visioning in dungeons to an iminent need (hey <call1> Healer is in a bubble)
Chat:
-Add Ctrl-Click name checking so if we ctrl click someones name in chat it lists their class, level, zone
-Add Item linking, so if we have chat open and we ctrl click an item in our inventory it lists it in chat and people can hover over it to get the item's tooltip popup
-Allow us to rename custom tabs (if we can, I haven't figure out how yet)
-Bank & Inventory
-Add Side By Side gear tooltip comparisons. So if we hover over an requipment icon in inventory/armory it shows us it's tooltip and the tooltip of the item we are wearing in it's slot. So if you hover over a helmet it would show you it's tooltip and your equipped helmets tooltip.
-Search
/sea all SomeonesFirstName
does not work, it lists a ton of people and I have to go into custom options and set SomeonesFirstName in the firstname box and run the search again to find them. I would expect /sea all Ryios to list me or anyone with a first name of ryios but it doesn't appear to work that way.
The load priority needs to be changed to
NPC - Party/raid(?) - Red circles - Mobs - Other players - companions - minions
This way on fates/odin/behemoth there can be 400+ players but you can still see the important parts and not the random zergs everywhere and suddenly die to a AOE you cant see, or get nothing from the fate becouse its impossible to target the mob.
Most games will give about 5 minutes before they automatically flag someone AFK (as in showing in-game as AFK to let people know you're away) and then another 15 minutes before they boot you off the game. If what you're doing is going to take longer than that, you can deal with the oh-so-onerous burden of clicking "Start" and then your character one more time.
