    To clarify, I know of the maintenance that is currently underway, this issue has been going on since I installed and patched the PC version several days ago.

    before i could play i had to open the ports for it on my router, turn on QoS and set it as highest for the game, disabled and made exceptions to programs that block in coming traffic, such as firewalls or/and Peerblock. Since the ps3 version runs almost something of a emulation of the pc version just at lower quality, it connects to the exact same severs and data centers as the pc version, it doesn't go through the psn severs. So it would be something on your computer that is blocking the service.
