I dont know personally I enjoy botany (but then I enjoy grinding in most games) and while it doesnt sell for much individually when you spend an hour and make enough gil off an NPC to sustain a day of dungeoning its really not that hard to see as a viable optionWhat do ores, logs, muddy water, tree branches etc... sell for (I honestly don't know)? How many hours would you have to mine, botany, fish, or farm for this to be a viable option? If you have to spend so much time farming to vendor items, the game is now a game of farming with less time on bosses and dungeons... Which game sounds like more fun? A game you can play and play the content, or a game where you play little content and spend the rest of the time grinding so you can play a little content.
Personally, real life is more like the latter game described and I'd rather not play Final Fantasy: A Real-life Reborn... Just my .02 on your rebuttle.
