It is only hard if not everyone is prepared, or you have a know it all that claims they know it but you check and they have yet to complete it.

I had a lancer tell me to kite nad not fight it. Really? Seriously? Uhh no.

But rather stick in back corner with others on left leg. It goes to spit, they know to strafe right and out of it, move over out of posion spot. Repeat till it's laid out. When done. Posion is in a contained area and you have most of the areans clean and clear.

Even if a dd oes down mid fight, you can finish it with 3.

However if the server is laggy at the moment, the fight turns brutal. You will see clearly between a low moment and high moment.

My wife and I have tried this three times and still can't do it because the random tank we find in duty finder will not move out of dragon breath or pull it out of the green pools. I'm actually going to have to put my dragoon aside to level a tank it seems like. This must be the first dungeon that shows who can actually tank and who just spams buttons. If there is any suggestion that I can give a random tank please let me know.

im sorry but i have to say that of all the mmorpg's i have ever played i have never seen such a sad set of tanks. i think of all the dungeons i have run so far i might have met 1 who knew what they were doing and kept aggro for the rest of us to play our roles they way they should be. yes this is a hard dungeon BUT thats how it should be! if tanks find it to hard then practice the role more and come back...else go back to playing WoW where all the enemy's have been nerfed down to the point where it isnt even fun any more. i give SE props for making an MMO where i cant level cap a class in a week! THANK YOU! finally a challenge! Worth every penny i spent on this game!

wipe 5 times on this boss as a sch due to bad tanking (pally). I actually ran out of mana quite early trying to heal him. Then we got another tank, wiped once, then the tank learns the mechanics and we got through it.

Well, I*did it 3 times as a scholar. The fight should be easy if the server (or the tank) is not laggy. Well, of course, understanding the mechanics is also important. But with a pld tank and lag, it is just crazy …
Anyway, I am doing it for fun (I cleared it the first run), but I*don't want to be in the tank socks the day the server is laggy.

Tank him against one edge of the wall. Have your DPS and Healer stand along the outside edge within range of him (and the healer). Murder him until he shoots someone. Tank should move the boss if need be. DPS should move slightly closer or further away from the boss along said wall out of the poison. Repeat til dead.

He spawns no adds. He does negligible melee damage. The biggest threat is people running around the middle, and the tank not dodging easily dodgeable breaths. People who have difficulty with this fight will not be pleased with Titan and Garuda.

I also did this fight as a scholar...before level 35 group heal no less. It was a little challenging but I would call it hard really.

What's the suggested level for this dungeon? I've never had trouble healing or going oom but with this dungeon I was spamming cure2 just to keep the lv32 tank alive...anyone else had this kind of trouble, do I suck as a healer or was the tank just too under level?

I have to say that some of these bosses can be a little bit of a pain. For the fun of it the wife decided to change up class rolls for a change of pace. She is tanking (PLD) and I'm healing (SCH). Trying to get her in the tanking mindset has been a little hard at times cause she is new to it and at first she did have a hard time with this fight but even for a new tank it is doable if they are willing to accept advice and help from others. I'm just happy we have good FC members that can be patient (BLM, BRD). So far up to we have made it up to Cutters without too much trouble with this group comp.
