I wonder as well, on Friday at this time I got on right away. I cannot imagine Friday night at 23:00PST would be less heavy traffic then 23:00PST on a Monday, even if said Monday is a holiday.

It seriously is like rush hour. Players log on=merging into the freeway. Players log off=Taking the exit they need. Traffic clears up if players reach their exit. This letting players log in. If they put in an AFK booter it would solve half their issues. Players would be pushed off to their exit allowing active players to merge into the free way per say. If players don't log out and new ones want in then the result ends with the flow of traffic coming to a halt. Thus clogging the lanes and new players waiting to log in and play resulting in the red light wait till it turns green to be let onto the freeway.

Normally not one to complain...but woke up at 2:00am on purpose just to play the game. WTF QUEUE?! WORLD FULL?! The amount of AFKs at THIS time of day is CLEARLY outrageous. Wish I could just walk a hoard of monsters into all the AFKs.

Guys you are forgetting the fact that there is really no "non-peak" hours for NA/EU servers, other than people from JP/NA/EU who has close proximity to the servers will chose those in their own region, other players scattered around the world are gonna pick a server and join and with the time differences it will be prime time somewhere in the world regardless.

In saying that it seems like this labour day long weekend in US is making people gaming 24/7 non stop as I will usually be able to login with less than 10 in queue or no queue at all right about now but I am getting hit real hard with 1017.

Two more days and hopefully this go away

I love this thread. It's like people forget that since these are North American AND Europe servers, and that because it's 3:00 am where they are that means it must be down time for everyone else in the world....
