Need help , getting insane lag/disconnects.

Hello , here's my problem. I've been playing this since the phase 3 of the beta and i've never ever encounter lag , or at least nothing major. But tonight it's a whole new story.

I have been getting horrible delay ( 5-15sec) and 50% of the time it's followed by Error 90000 and i am getting disconnected. The moment i get back in the lag is still present ,it's clearly spiking from around 100ms ( my normal ping ) to 5000-10000ms. I've seen 5000-6000 in the "receiving" part from that little signal icon we have near the map/time. While i am not sure what sending and receiving stand for i am pretty sure getting a number in the thousand isn't good if it's related to our ping. So 5000-6000 is just horrible.

I've tried everything i could on my end , i took a look at everything that was running on my PC , nothing unusual. I monitored my internet connection , no lag , spikes , delay or anything but just in case i turned off my modem 5-10min to make it reset. I tried 3 different world and every time i log i am getting those horrible lag spike followed by error 90000.

Sometimes it's only the server so i said to myself i'll keep playing it will fix itself but after 3 hours i think there's definitely a problem somewhere...

Can i do something to fix that or is it totally on SE end and all i can do is continue playing with that horrible issue ? I would really love some answers.

Summary : So far from what we see in this thread is latency issue causing us to get lag spikes and sometimes followed by a disconnection ( Error 90000) and the usual log in errors. We can also say that the problem for most of us started at or around 2:00 am Eastern Time September 1st and it's affecting every regions. So far no information from SE about this problem. For now let's hope the maintenance today will fix it.

Who is your ISP and what part of the world are you playing from?

You aren't alone. I'm suffering the same fate as well. From what I've gathered we just have to wait for them to "refix" this issue, which is the issue they "fixed" a couple days ago... No official word that I can find on them investigating it at present. But sometimes I miss things so...

My internet have nothing to do with the problem , i have a very stable connection. I am from Quebec Canada , like i said i never had any kind of lag before. So i am 99.9% sure it's not on my end... =\

@Vynym I am glad to hear i am not alone so far i thought i was and that made the problem even more frustrating. Been asking in-game and no one had troubles like me. And as of right now i can't even log anymore... Error 10102... Lost Connection to Server. I can deal with full servers but random issue that goes on for hours without a word from anyone is annoying

Bumping this just because it keep happening and there's no news about something like that anywhere... I reached a 34 seconds delay while dismounting , something have to be done.

I just got the same thing. I started playing the first dungeon and after a few minutes of lag getting progressively worse i got booted :/

I hope you don;t get something like me... it's awful. I've been testing stuff and it's totally random , i logged back in and i did nothing , i didn't even move a muscle... 2-3 minutes later ... Error 90000 and i am disconnected again.

Hey try to log in with a different character if u can on the same server, then add the character name u having trouble with to ur friend list see if it shows that is online coz that's what I did and mine is showing that is online still and is been 3 days now...
is so frustrating but ur not alone on this.

Like i said at the beginning i tried 3 different world , so 3 different character , they all disconnect... And my problem isn't my character being online if that was the problem i could not even log in i would get the 3102 Error.

Update on my situation : Getting disconnected after less than 2 min now. It's getting worst and worst.
