The Lat on the NA servers is bordering unplayable. Moving out of effects is basically a waste of time.

From what i've noticed so far, its probably the same as 1.0 for me. which is doable with things, you just have to be fast and not unlucky to be doing any kind of ability when some killer moves come your way.
Just a shame watching yourself getting out of the aoe zone, and still getting hit. More so when everyone thinks your a nub! lol

Well I have been playing as probably the most latency dependent role (tank) on almost every duty finder in the main story as well as the extra dungeons.
The latency is'nt that bad as was quoted it's similar to 1.0, I don't have any issues avoiding aoe, or mob attacks in general. However every now and then you will get by an attack you are clearly out of range of. But this is maybe a 1 in 100 occurance.
+1 for being on Tonberry with friends spread across Tonberry and a couple of other worlds.
Would be keen for a new World labelled Oceanic and the ability to free transfer to it. That, or for Tonberry restrictions to be lifted and a sizeable enough window so my friends can actually get on, but as mentioned, this is incredibly unlikely. Seems if you didn't play in Phase 4, you had no chance of actually getting onto Tonberry.
I also find if you react quick enough, and don't 'derp must finish casting spell before I move', you're generally okay getting out of red circles, especially after you've been doing it for 40+ levels. That said, from what I have been reading, you latency is either better or worse on JP servers depending on your internet provider (Optus and companies that run on Optus lines can get ~200ms on NA servers, but get ~280+ms on JP servers). Always fun reading threads about people getting stuck with 130ms and how it makes the game 'impossible'
