    I dunno about overseas, but here in Australia a company can't sell a consumer a product/service advertised in a particular way and then fail to deliver as it was advertised.

    There are no special passes for MMOs, or for putting a statement on the box saying 'no refunds if opened', or for getting a consumer to eletronically sign a statement agreeing to no refunds *before* they get to use the product. Such actions would not hold up as a defense if a consumer chose to pursue their rights for a defective product/service under our consumer laws.

    Meanwhile I have absolutely no intention of requesting a refund - regardless of occasional login problems I'm enjoying the game too damn much so there is no way I'm returning it ^^.

    If the number of westerners in military forces actually matched the number of internet peeps who *claimed* they were in the military then western countries would contain 50% of the people they currently do. You can still get arsehats in the military. You get bad apples in every group, etcetera.
