As stated before, as soon as they start kicking AFK people, those that want to afk will jsut set-up simple click/move macros to defeat this.
On the kicking AFK people... Just think of the people in Inn's on PS3 that will stay in the in, use a rubber band around the right or left analog stick and let their character run in circles for hours where no one will even know they are there.
Sir Percival of Cactuar | 50 Lots.
Percival of Asura | 75WAR/75NIN/75PLD
That's not entirely true. Most MMO's now have AFK countermeasures in place that are a bit more advanced that that. Instead of just moving you actually have to play the game to not get kicked. Meaning other things have to happen like menu's opening and closing, mutli-direction movement, chatting, doing quests, etc... Simply making a macro to move you or turning auto-run on won't work with that kind of system.
same problem exactlyYup So far the process for me goes something along the line of the follow (waiting a min between each try):
1017
1017
1017
1017
No NA/EU Server List
No NA/EU Server List
No NA/EU Server List
Lobby error
wait 5 minutes then restart the client to start the above process over again.
Siren is down to
I too am not seeing US/EU server list ....
For all the people saying this game is new and it will have its issues. this game has more issues at its release than most games have during their initial alpha testing maybe SE hired testers suck or maybe SE just doesn't care, but they have a great game and they need to fix there shit soon because trash game management will lose people
All they have to do is delete their entire server infrastructure and copy and paste Guild Wars 2's. Problem solved.
Seeing as even my $25 mouse has a simple macro button on it, more people with do this then you think. Even more so with 1017 being so prevalent.
15 min is far to short a timer - and would just cause more traffic on the log server anyway.
