9/1 Login Difficulties NA/EU Not Fixed

*sigh* Took off all labor day and used up my paid vacation time so I could party and play FFXIV. ASU ruined my weekend by telling me to spend my money on books and that my scholarship would be distributed this week to reinburse me. Never happened so now I'm flat out broke. Five bucks to my name but I was ok with it, just meant lots of grinding on FFXIV.

Guess that too, has fallen through. What a great waste of a long weekend. Should've just worked. I was able to login last night at 2AM. Should've went afk instead of logging out when I headed to bed.

The fact that 5k ppl are loging in at the same time would of course have no effect on the login issues.

If they would just kick afk player, that alone would reduce the load on the login server by 50-70%. No more hammering loggin trying to get a spot, instead you're in after 1-2 attempts.

Yes gone afk lol. But you would've been kicked anyway when the servers went down.

Let them continue to lie and provide poor service. No one will renew after their 30 day free trial period and they will have another broken wasteland of a game much like 1.0.

I hope they compensate us with another free 30 days because I paid $45 and I barely ever get on when I WANT TOO! between the 1017 and the non queue's and than random server shutdowns that i dont even know about so im spamming (X) like an idiot before i realize something is wrong. This was Blizzards problem too; Great you guys have done well- sold millions of copies... please for our inconvenience add us FREE play time. Otherwise when im actually IN the game; playing... its been fun... but ive been aggravated more lately...

I have been able to play at 7 am est... anytime after is "world full"... I been trying every hour of the day... they cant even tell us how long this will take??? nothing about this issue on the news!

Sept 1, 2013 @ 4:18pm, still unable to load NA/EU world list. Not fixed, solution not found. Fix the servers, then fire all the decision makers for this launch.

Same here, can't get in, been trying for over an hour. 7 Days extension right now is not enough. I missed most of the Early Access, I've barely been able to play this weekend, and gee, I work during the week, so barely any time to play then. This game is really good, I want to f'n play it. No wonder everyone just AFK's instead of logging out.

I was able to see my character for a couple minutes then either unable to retrieve NA/EU worlds and/or lobby connection error. I've been trying to keep patient but it's becoming thinner
