World of Warcraft. The launch was a train wreck. I know, because I was there. Anyone else who was there will tell you the same thing.

Hard time logging into the full servers? WoW's servers weren't even up most of the time. And for months after launch it was plagued with tons errors. The one that annoyed me the most was a bug which locked you into the looting animation. That took them a year to fix.

You mean the original that was a decade ago when this kind of mass MMO was non existent? And every expansion was fixed in less then 36 hours and had 10x+ more players. That one? Comparing this launch to launch when the wheel was being invented is a fair comparison with a 10 year difference in knowledge / technology / programming. GTFO

the orginial WoW launch was still better then this, that is the sad part.

WoW had problems for weeks.

it might have had bugs / lagged but it was playable since day 3.
