Every time an online game launches, you'll find people who say it's the worst launch in history. At this point it's just like Reality Television. It's always going to be there, and it's always going to be retarded.

I have played many and know that this game still has a long way to go to be the "worst launch in history" people are just being pathetic calling this the worst launch when there is evidence of far worse launches and this game doesn't even come close to it.

Is this the worst launch? Maybe it comes down to opinion but regardless its a bad launch. I've played ffxi when it came out and it was bad but its been so long i can't recall how long or bad the launch was. Tera online went smooth with me I heard of players having problems but for some reason I did not have any. SWTOR it was so-so but did not last this long.
name calling cause some people are frustrated is a bit lame. Some people have busier lives to tend to and it sucks paying for a game you can't play or hardly play, if you disagree with this then anything you say imo is just wasting everyone's time. Simply adding in a afk dc would help greatly, it wouldn't fix the problem but it would sure damn help some.

I should hope not lol! Today is actually the first time I've had any issues, so I'll just continue rewatching Sons of Anarchy while attempting to log in. I've seen plenty of launches much worse than this, heh.

name one MMO that has had major errors that have locked tens of thousands of players out for over a week. Name one, the biggest MMO of all time has server congestion fixed in less then 36 hours. So please name one, because at this point this makes Neverwinter launch look like they knew what they were doing.

World of Warcraft. The launch was a train wreck. I know, because I was there. Anyone else who was there will tell you the same thing.

Hard time logging into the full servers? WoW's servers weren't even up most of the time. And for months after launch it was plagued with tons errors. The one that annoyed me the most was a bug which locked you into the looting animation. That took them a year to fix.

I was there too actually. The blizzard forums were a blast to read lol.

He's right about that, my account from launch (November or December 2004 i think) has 37 free bonus days on it from back then due to all the server crashes on Deathwing US =p

EU wow had some lag on it and some crashes

but atleast they didnt plainly lock out players like here
the game is great tho to easy but plainly saying go away we dont want to increase server bandwitdh cause where to greedy to get more servers please wait 5 hours before you can log into a queue system for another 1 hour wait

sorry not done if this isnt fixed soon * they havent even tried it other then saying WHERE ABOUT TO also days ago* wel lets just say i see 1.0 happening again -.- wich whould be a real damn shame
