I actually think the butt on the mithra looks smaller even if it sticks out farther than the back. It's about how the character stands, not necessarily how far their behind sticks out. The difference is, the mithra has less of an arc (curve) of the back. In fact, the mithra looks more 'manly' than the miqo'te, by far.

Uncommon (but not unrealistic) hip ratio aside, I really think the small behind is fine. I mean, people who are that size do exist. I'm one of them. Would you like me to upload a picture of my behind so you can analyze it and draw lines? :P

Edit: the real difference between 1.0 and 2.0 is something we've known about for a long time -- sliders for the breasts. You can have your huge breasts if you want. However, the huge breasts make the butt look small. Ideally, we'd have sliders for both, but I really don't think the miqo'te look 'unnatural'. The reason the armor sticks out like that is to accommodate the tail, which needs to move and swing around. I know because I've cosplayed a mithra/miqo'te and yes, that tail needs room.

Not all people are proportioned super well. I think it is your critical artistic eye that is bothering you... because it is a game and of course you want the ratios to be 'perfect' or at least have more options. Add to that the fact that they changed it from something you WERE happy with before and it turns into this. =/ Had the butts always been that small, no one would have noticed. Also, I edited my last post to add something else I forgot to mention.

I want to believe it's a typo before I pass judgment.. it's late. On the East coast, it's almost four AM. I can make slips like that sometimes, but I tend to reread my posts and edit it too fast for people to notice. (Most of my posts are edited to fix typos.)
