Theres a whole host of reasons this has happened (mostly technical) its impressive they have clothes working for such a number of different variables. You'll just have to learn to get over it because this will never, ever be fixed, its just not worth the manpower to fix and the difference is negligible to normal human (non-ass hungry) eyes.

Let's be honest, if you actually read this topic the obsession over it isn't because it makes the world look better, it's because they want a nice ass to stare at - Remember how much people were telling everyone to shut up about the graphic style change of ARR back before Alpha? It's not about that, it's about the appearance of equipment on your character and how miss-shaped your characters body looks. Would you like it if you were happy with a character you had in 1.0 and had high hopes for 2.0 then the development team made your arm length half the size and extended the length of your legs?
