The Bard LB has saved so much ass in many parties I've been in. Especially Dhorma Chimera when we were all learning the fight when both healers died due to either mistakes or cheap hits
It's a combination of what Benediction used to be + Arise

Bard's limit break should be
Level 1: 25% damage increase for the entire party, 30s duration
Level 2: 50% damage increase for the entire party, 30s duration
Level 3: 75% damage increase for the entire party, 30s duration
Then their limit break would be support and offensive.

It's 'cause all that "Best Dps" parser-rage that make some bard thinks they must ONLY focus on damage. :3 All rangers more than bards, imho.
I'm Bard LV35 right now, and I like everything about my job except the limit break... I think it's useless if there's a good healer around. I would love to have a damage-oriented LB.

I agree, bard's limit break is crappy as it is now.
Lunar's post is a good idea though.
The real question is "Why do we only have 3 roles?"
Shouldn't we have a "support" role with bard falling into that category?
No, it really shouldn't be. No one would ever use the DPS LB then because 75% damage for 30s is way more damage than 1 big hit or an AoE nuke.Bard's limit break should be
