Does anyone have any tips for a lvl 45 BLM attempting this instance?

What is the best course of action to take out as many of the the Planar Fissures as possible in the short time we have? Is it better to take them out one by one? Which spell is the most effective?

I tried using Sleep on the mobs, but there are just too many, so I can't manage, as hard as I try.

I managed to get past the second wave with some difficulty, but I couldn't do anything in the third wave. I died almost instantly when all the mobs swarmed on me.

Any tips would be welcome.

If you're trying to aoe down the void portals don't, just focus fire on them one by one. Use your quicker casting spells, Fire 1 and Blizzard 1, and throw out a fire 3 when the proc comes up. No, you probably won't be able to get all of the portals down before they spawn monsters, but on the later phases you should be able to narrow the field down to only 3 portals that spawn monsters.

Honestly if this is giving you trouble the level 50 quest is going to eat you alive.

Don't forget you can sleep the adds that spawn if it gets too much.

If all else fails, running around in a circle casting Scathe gets the job done, as your helper will heal you. But, definitely try to kill off as many portals as you can, and target those portals that will spawn the big guys first.
