besides, those patches are just there to keep us on the ball, and to fix minor problems while the devs are still reworking the more flawed mechanics like the battle system, classes and other balances.
bitching at something is allways easier then actually understanding how it works.
be happy about getting anything at all, because else you'd have to wait 3 months or longer for one big update.

I mean do you really consider a few ui changes a good patch? I mean WOO EQUIPMENT HAS ITS OWN TAB is that really an amazing patch? Can you really consider that good? =\ I guess no matter what happens its just fanboys will be fanboys the thing is most of you are going to defend fanboys cause this is a FF forum, but the general public would say the patches are coming way to slow for things to ever be fixed. I mean thing of the release then look at now really nothings changed, I mean yeah sure they've improved the Ui a little bit, but is those 7 or 8 ui changes in the pass 7 months enough to suffice for your taste? What I'm saying is lets look at the overall game and the speed of patches and lets look at how and what exactly changes. most patches are Ui changes and yet you guys are happy with that? Sure progress is progress, but What I'm trying to say is if everyone says SE move faster they'll have no choice, but to move faster. If everyone says remake the game they'll have no choice to remake the game. At this point its a lost cause and they really do just need to either scratch it or be releasing a patch every week otherwise the games just going to die. I mean its already dead sorry. each server barely breaking 300 people isn't going to be enough to keep the servers up even if they all pay the monthly fee.Also don't think of this thread as a troll I mean were just two parties speaking our opinions which is true, but what I'm saying does have a point to some extent. It's not just about pumping out a patch every week. IT CAN'T BE DONE. They aren't trying to STEM THE TIDE. They are REDESIGNING PRACTICALLY THE ENTIRE GAME FROM THE GROUND UP. How could the current dev team POSSIBLY have all this done in 4 months WHEN IT WASN'T COMPLETED IN THE YEARS THE PREVIOUS DEV TEAM HAD?!

I laugh every time people say they are redesigning the ENTIRE GAME..... really if people believe that one day they will log on, and the game will be drastically completely changed, then said people need not to have kids.

I said practically. And one day you will log in and the game will be drastically different, you are absolutely right. Jobs will be named differently, there will be a new job system, a new crafting system, a new grouping system, a new companies system, new transportation, and a new battle system. If you don't believe that, then I hope you keep to your own advice.

How could they do that? Just adding auto-attack is going to drastically change the system in and of itself and break half the abilities as they are. Add on top of that the new job system and the Dev's desire to make classes more distinct and common sense dictates that they have to do more than just "throw in auto-attack and call it a day."

I wouldn't mind if they implemented PvP. It would give me something to do that isn't a complete bore for 7 months and running :P But I doubt it will be implemented in a fasion that isn't completely softcore at this point.

It would be nice if there was actually some meat in traveling into the game world, but there simply isn't enough of that to even call this a solid PvE MMO. Where is this "environment" we are are against!?
