Like others have said Archer is only good for burst DMG so yeah stacking Multishot and Raging Strike is great at the start of a fight and because mobs are so weak most of the time half their HP bar will vanish and then people think that you are OP.

I did the crab NM the other day and on Archer I was doing about 20-30 DMG a hit so I switched to MRD and I was doing 100-120 a hit. Archer is a great class and I have loads of fun playing it but it is not because it is OP.
