Man, sorry to hear about the chat service not working for you. I can't even find the chat service option anyway, but for EU to be routed to NA I wouldn't think it was that different in terms of account.

Day 4: It's been well over 48 hours since I submitted my support ticket to SE. Morale is at an all time low. The masses have tried with all but a few succeeding in their efforts... I grow weary and dream of the day in which all accounts can be merged as to progress in the world... of Eorzea...

ive been patient since p4 beta and early access woes because i got locked out on mu Collectors Edition preorder. and now its on service account 2. fuck them. they absolutely now that a lot have played their game before. but why in the world would they make the choice of creating a new service account be the default one? i mean seriously? are they that dense? or do they just have an incalculable lack of skills to understand english? pfffffffffft.
Don't misunderstand I'm not trying to defend SQUEENIX but the fact remains is that this HAS happened, and honestly it's because there's so many people with the problem that it's taking the support desk so long.
Just don't stress over it is what I'm sayin'
Update: IT'S BEEN FIXED!!! WOOO
I created the ticket about 50 hours ago, and only knew that I had to contact someone to get it escalated yesterday. Couldn't get through to anyone yesterday and racked up a 50dollar phone bill. Called at about 9:30PST this morning, didn't get through to anyone till 12:45PST. Talked to the guy for about 10 minutes, giving the usual information. Was solved somewhere within this hour (7PM PST). So yeah, they do actually do it quickly once you get through. Best tip, create a ticket, just use skype and call the damn guys, you'll eventually get through and when you finally do, it'll be solved relatively quickly.

I think this is a case of overly smart individuals putting too much thought into something that should seem so simple it smacks them in the face.

First off, I want to say - thanks for making a really, really crappy account system. I don't ever remember having such an ordeal with any product.. let alone a product I purchased to enjoy and relax with. ARRRG!!!
I filled out your form for the specific issue and got my "48 hour" email 4 days ago. I give up... I just plan to buy another copy of the game, SOMEWHERE, and just apply that code to my original service account.
Thanks for making spend another $30 on your game Square Enix. Whenever all the dust settles then we can figure out how to apply my CE version on service account 2 to my REAL services account.
If I were managing this mess of an account system, first thing I would do would be to implement a merge function the USER could work - problem solved. Second thing I would do.. I would give EVERY player with an active account a free month of play after all this crap is settled.
