Paul is nice. If he was the guy who answered the phone when I called EU support you should be ok.OK.....much to my chagrin i tried one last time to get it sorted.....got through to live chat after 1hr and spoke to SEE agent paul B....he was very nice.....didn't ask for any details or anything just looked at my ticket and said my issue would be resolved within the next 24 hours.....don't know whether it will or not.....I'll keep you posted.

This is unbelievable, almost 24h since my ticket was escalated and nothing yet! This sucks!
I was never on hold with EU phone support when i called yesterday. Not sure if its still not queueing now.
That is my experience as well. Essentially, our "trials" have ended. Until you have a copy of the game associated with your service account, you cannot play.
I have also waited in the phone queue for several hours with no result. I have waited in the chat queue 2 times before getting to "1" and being told there are no agents available to help me.
I am just disappointed. I have been a very loyal customers for many years. I was playing FFXI even up to this year and was very ready for FFXIV. I have established a large and active Free company with a character that it seems I won't even be able to play for quite some time.
I will spend another day waiting for tech support and then I will try to track down a new copy of the game.

Well, the beta/EA account expired so now I only have one account (the wrong one with no characters) and the EA account now says 'Inactive'. Since they don't show up until 9PST there is no point getting into chat now. I don't have all day long to sit on the phone waiting for someone to pick up. I'll try the chat for maybe an hour or two (before I leave work) and if I can't get anyone I'm basically screwed because I decided I'm not going to waste my time making another character only to have that character get wiped when they eventually do merge.
The fact of the matter is this is unacceptable. It shouldn't take this long to get something like this fixed. I shouldn't have to subject myself to hours and hours of trying to 'escalate' a ticket in order to get mine fixed, that's the whole point of the damn online form. Yea, I'm pissed off.
