    yeah mate I figured it was NA players not wanting to ring the USA call center, but the problem I have is if you refuse to take it into your own hands an use the info given (phone numbers) why just keep complaining?. I know all well how frustrating this bug is, an how easy it was to make the mistake in first place. But the fix is there.
    You just have to "want" to do it. I dont know if the USA hotline is hard to talk to or what it is. But I know the UK line is perfect, professional polite an very quick.

    Jeez. This thread grew about 50pages in 24 hours.

    I finally managed to get into contact with an EU rep on live chat, gave him my details, and confirmed the ticket had been escalated.
    That was 3:30ish this morning. It's been 15hrs since then.

    *sigh*.

    10 tries over 2-3 hours each try of my own time is not "wanting" it?

    I think it is not they dont want to, it's they can't. For some odd reason, the US hotline is complete opposite of UK. Everyone who called and post here take an average 4 hours wait on the line, and quite a few people never got on the line to start with and they just got a busy ringtone and had to hang up and call again. For the live chat option, some people appeared to be in a queue and then bam when its your turn you got told that it is not working or not available and after sitting in the queue for 3 hours you have to re-queue. Not everyone can afford to spend hours glued to the phone/pc let alone hours after hours.

    I can totally understand why the NA people are so angry and frustrated cuz it is like the 1017 error in game is not enough they made it to real life customer service too.

    I guess people using the EU customer services got lucky

    So after 4 tickets (over the last 3 days) , 1live chat promising "escalation" and one phone call (on premium 0870 phone number) promising "escalation"........

    My account is now inactive.

    Thanks SE, on principal I am done.

    Not a rage quit, rather a rational reaction to a frustrating and seemingly impossible situation. I cannot spend more time on this, it really is just a video game after all

    I wish better to luck to the rest of you

    Put in a ticket almost immediately after I realized I made the mistake... which was roughly 3 days ago. Still haven't got a response much like everyone here. Going to attempt to contact them through the chat but the last few times I've tried it has timed out as soon as it was my turn. Seems like a common problem which is a shame because I do enjoy the game. Here's hoping they fix the issue.

    Details - just anything

    Just hit next until you reach the page that has Proceed to Chat Support then just follow the steps..

    Just posting for those people who have EU accounts and getting support from SE NA support. NA support can't fix EU accounts.
