I enjoy this debate because it's a symptom of a larger social problem. Selfish pricks log in and stay in without regard for anyone else. Considerate people log in, play, then log out so others may play. There is very little else I could do to the pricks that life hasn't already so I'm fine just continuing to be a considerate player.

An AFK timer would be a good start to help alleviate the 1017 wall many are encountering.

Yeah, sorry but it's pretty low to take up slots being AFK when you aren't even playing. You're making it harder for your brother gamers to play, and if you continue to do so you encourage them to quit the game.

Sounds like you be "considerate" for the wrong reasons. You have a very self-righteous attitude about it which isn't healthy.

Also, the only time you're being "considerate" is during prime hours but you're playing at that time probably. The people staying logged in over-night don't hurt anything as the server isn't congested then.

What's irritating is being online, crafting, and then get the 9000 error and can't get in for what's going on 20 minutes. Seriously, something needs fixing. How are people going to raid if someone gets booted for an unknown reason and gets the world is full message? Even regular instances?

Yeah A AFk kick timer would be nice in some games but what everyone wasn't counting on was FFXIV to be such a Big Hit and now that it is everyone just wants to bitch about how they cant get in well its simple wait your turn or just don't play. even though all SE would really have to do is in large the severs compasity witch they will do or they just lose members witch i don't see that happening anytime soon the game is great we all just need to give Yoshi P and the SE team some Credit they are doing a fine job and everyone needs to respect that.
