They need to implement reporting tools as well, so that RMT spammers can be reported and kicked off, so that they no longer consume a valuable slot. Until then they should seriously consider draining all servers every five or six hours to try to purge them. Because right now on Goblin there are about 50 within the first three city states alone, and they're preventing even the queue from working properly (it seems that once the queue gets somewhere around 80 it just starts dumping players to the 1017 error).

Agreed one guy on server been afk for nearly 72 hours not moved an inch is a major p**s take! It doesnt need to be perm just temp till they increase slots, havent been able to play since early access launch getting ticked off now

As for people being able to auto run etc to avoid WoW and other games got around this problem with pattern detection or some crap like that where if you ran in a straight line and havent done anything else for a certain amount of time you got kicked

I am for kicking the afk'ers. It's extremely frustrating getting the world is full message and EVEN MORE SO when I come into every town and city has people just standing there...

An AFK time and boot is entirely essential to the game. Please implement it Square Enix... on top of the queue system for logging into a server that you need to implement. The two in tandem, on top of server expansions will make a huge difference, and will calm the playerbase.

even whole they work on the code and everything they could at least reset the servers from time to time. Really sucks that there is probably at least 25% of the server population that is just afk

Seriously this needs to be done. There is zero reason that anyone should be allowed to afk for 24 hours. its killing the launch and people are getting pissed because they cant play.... like seriously enough is enough 30 min afk timer

If people pay real $ to play, then they should be able to play as long as they want. And that includes AFK time.

I log in every morning at 9am and log out at 2am. Yup, 17 hours a day. Most if that is playing but some is not.

You'd be stupid to log out during these early release hiccups.

Temporary? No this should be permanent! 30 minutes and your kicked, hell, 15 minutes would be acceptable for now. It must be a common Asian thing to overlook this because they have a tendency to play in cafés. Still, there were thousands of people in queue for Aion until an afk timer was added. This may well help with queues in game and eliminate the need for error 1017 or whatever it is.
