117. And I write what I think of. If you call this trollish then you surely are a strange guy who trolls about who's not a troll.Ahh alright, just wanted to make sure I had not offended anybodyI have had my fair share of forums, and I try to avoid conflict wherever I post. Otherwise you have a 245243 page post full of flaming and trolling where good ideas should have been.
Anyhow, glad you think we share the sameish viewpointshopefully SE will take them into account in the future!
118.
Haha ^^ I think we are confusing each other. I do not think you are a troll, please re read what we have typed out so far. I have no problem with you, and ill leave it at that since what im typing may be confusing to you.
Nah, don't worry, it's not confusing at all. You just said that I posted trollish crap for... well, that seems like infinite! So it usually means that I'm a troll. At least, that's what EVERYONE would think.
No problems with you too. I just don't like when people talk wrong about me =)
Wanna hang out for some guildleves?
And this is where things begin heading downhill. I dont think you are a troll, but to keep the post constructive I wont be replying to you after this unless we can move past this little upset.
Sorry again for any confusion or trouble.
So! What other suggestions for the AH / Market Wards are there? Aside from the points we have listed before, anyone else have any ways the system could be improved? Never know what SE might be reading, so this is a good chance to get your ideas out there![]()
im suprised at the lack of trolls in this topic, everything for tweaking the MWs seem like good ideas, lets hope SE looks at it lol
Yea, I am hoping they browse the forums and check all the topics. I keep seeing those [dev 113213] tags though, so maybe the OP could add one of those to the title to improve our chances
There have honestly been some really good ideas tossed around in this one, so hopefully *somebody* up there reads it!
*EDIT*
Actually, just added 'dev1019' to the tag section to help the Devs see what we have to say. Keep them ideas a comin'!

The first thing i thought when I started playing this game: WOW!!! I don't have to zone so much! No zones for different sections of the cities.. or leaving the city... or entering a new part of the region!!As for getting the item instantly... I'm sorry, but I just find this to be a silly argument. "Oh no! I can't possibly be expected to actually move my character for a few seconds to pick up my item!" Those 15 seconds could have been spent killing a mob! Damn you SE for wasting 15 seconds of my time! I demand instant satisfaction since those 15 seconds are very important to me!"!!!
The first thing I thought when I used the market wards: Zone.... zone... zone.... ~_~ zZz zZz... why the hell did they cluster a ton of zones in this area of the game??

Yea, its honestly a hassle to have to zone in and out and back and forth to search for items. While 15 seconds might not be a hindrance to some players, it is huge for the people who have a ton of crafting to do. Or those who don't have a ton of time to play, so they end up avoiding the wards at all cost so they don't have to shop around for a half hour or more. The first thing i thought when I started playing this game: WOW!!! I just don't see why some people are against the simplification of the ward system to make things easier on all players. A central source you purchase from and a delivery system (be it mail system or a mog house) would fix everything. If you are a fan of the retainers, keep them. Have one lead Auctioneer NPC that the retainers are tied to. Players can purchase items directly through him without having to zone, and players can post up their sales by using retainers like normal.
It's just easier for everyone that way in my opinion.

Because just because it's easier doesn't make it better? Where do people get this idea that just because something is easier, it's automatically the better way to do things?
Btw, you don't have to zone out of the MW to change your search item. I do all crafts, btw, and I really don't see how a few seconds has any significant impact.
I agree, easy does not equal better with all things. Far from it actually, I prefer a challenge when im playing a game!Because just because it's easier doesn't make it better? Where do people get this idea that just because something is easier, it's automatically the better way to do things?

In this case though, the wait is purely a hindrance. There is no need at all to zone to the different wards and search through several different retainers to find the lowest price for an item.
What are some advantages you see to keeping the wards as they are, Kaedan? How would keeping the zoning in / out and searching different retainers individually be better than searching for x item by visiting a main source like an NPC tied to all retainers?
I honestly just cant see how making the system faster and easier to use would make it worse in this case >.>
