    I like the market wards

I like the market wards since it gives you that feel of having a peddler sell your goods on the street. I did the same thing with my mules back in ffxi, just wished retainers were in a more open place, like maybe open up some doors and windows inside the wards.

The problem is that the market wards have a limited amount of retainers it can fit per ward, and with everybody wanting to be in uldah, that place would fill up quickly and not everybody can have their retainers selling and not have a good experience with the market wards. I feel sorry for those in Gridania.

This will become more of a problem once more people comes in the game and when more people get more retainers. With the mailbox system, who's gonna stop someone from making 8 characters with 16 retainers. A few people can fill up the entire ward with just their retainers and stop others from summoning their retainers. Of course, some smart ass will say, "if you can afford to pay the monthly, it's your right to make as many characters as you want." Yes, you can but once the RMT figures this out, they already have multiple characters each and can obviously afford the monthly once they start charging, they can takeover the entire economy, you'll probably start crying again.

It's not a problem for my current retainers since they are saved in their spot in limsa battlecraft wards, and I practically own the place; but I will feel sorry for ps3 players who can't make money because the wards are so full.

Anyways, here's an idea to make the wards more centralized. Make the search function centralized, meaning it will display items from all cities, and put an aetheryte inside em and allow to teleport to another city for 1 anima or maybe free.

I don't mind the wards either. Now that there is that global search, it's just fine.

    :'D your sig<333 lul

On another note, I like the market wards too. But I would not object to the global search feature being a bit more like an AH, for example, listing the prices of previous items instead of the prices just vanishing once the item is sold. Some type of history would be nice.

Just out of curiosity, would what a price history help?

This is more of a curious question, from what I have recently read in other threads that seems like it was a big part of the 'blind bid' auction house of FF11, is that right? I didnt get to use that system at all, so I dont know much about it.

In my experience though, players eventually find a standard price on their own without a history. After time the market stabilizes and 'minimum prices' kind of fall in place. People know that x item will sell for around x price because thats what it is worth, or at least that is what I have seen on other games.

Assuming a 'blind auction' type situation was not introduced, is this something that would be needed?

I think it would help just to keep certain things, usually things that are not so common on the wards, at a somewhat steady price. For example, I buy and sell a lot of food ingredients, but since these are not commonly bought and sold (at least on my server) the prices fluctuate drastically. Sometimes people will sell them for like 2k, sometimes for 200. It just helps to have a history for this type of thing, so the prices remain steady. This normally dosen't happen with things like crystals and popular mats and such.

Market Wards are tedious, boring, and a lag fest. {No, thanks} It's not innovative, it's stupid. Feel like I'm playing a Barbie MMO sometimes.

What features specifically from the AH that are missing from the Marketwards are you missing?

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
