If only 10% of the people complaining about the servers would put that same passion into finding and keeping a job
none of this would be happening and the US Economy would be better for it
Context guys.
All I’ve read is that Yoshi tears up during his launch day speech for the project that he’s dedicated himself to for the past three (3) years. It’s tantamount to an acceptance speech being delivered by someone who genuinely cared about what they’re being honoured for. Also, I can’t imagine he’s gotten much rest over these past few days.
Most of you seem to have made the assumption that he sobbed profusely while apologizing for the NA/EU server problems. Until I know otherwise, I’m going to believe that Yoshi and his team can enjoy their successes and accept their failings in a professional manner.
He's not tearing up due to any disrespectful community. He's tearing up as he recounts the long journey for the 3-year re-development of this game. The entire speech is him talking about the trials his team faced since it was announced that they would remake the game and he would take over the project. You guys who disrespect Yoshida and his team are all morons, there is no need for this man to be tearing up, that shows he is disappoined in the treatment he is getting from the unappreciative people who cant see he is working extremely hard, i remember reading a rumor he was ready to step down, although it was just a rumor i wouldnt be surprised if he did considering all the stress you crybabies put on him, just lighten up people everything will be just fine, if we want this game to be here long i suggest we start being more supportive and show more gratitude, its nothing that can make a person give up more than a disrespective and ungrateful community.

It seems very few people have the problem I have since I see so many oblivious post defending launch and saying how we shouldnt complain so... fyi I cant play since day one. I havent been able to play for a second since. So you, OP, are exagerating when you say we victims of said errors want to play 24/7. In my case my main character got stuck/bugged while moving to the instance server. At the moment I'm waiting patiently for support to answer me after 2 days of submitting my problem. These posts defending launch make me sick so does all you white knights out here that can play and tell us to suck it up.

They have made the assumption because that's what happened.
So you haven't been able to play since today?

Why does everyone act as if Yoshida teared up because of the server problems? It's by far not the biggest challenge he faced and it seems weird that this would affect him this much at this point. Besides, they have server problems because they got more players than they expected - that's not that bad, is it? Of course I don't know anything for sure either, but to me it seems like he's just getting emotional because he's finally able to get this game out there after slaving away for years.
Actually, the French and German forums are pretty much the same. There are obviously less negative posts because there are less posts in general, but overall you'll find a counterpart for pretty much every single major topic.
I can't say anything about the Japanese community, but for the rest you'll find the same kind of toxic and entitled whining everywhere.
networking and managing server load it's a bi*** just ask google, amazon, youtube, facebook, twitter and many more.
They all share something besides their success.
People crying cause they can't play a game 24/7 and when a patient one tries to reason with them, they call him a white knight and a bumlicker. Waging a war on the other people on the internet, over a bloody video game? Nice job.
I agree it's annoying when the game is clogged up. But they'll fix it. They better fix it.
In the meantime, close your PC, get outside, live and love. Or you can just play something else.

I agree with the OP.
Honestly, why is it that all people remember are the bad stuff, not the stuff that really counts, aka, all the fun we had.
