No issues here. Don't get me wrong, it takes a bit to get used to the cross bar and targeting, but all in all, not bad at all.

I am loving this version. The option to change many of the settings mentioned are actually in game under the system menu options "Character Configuration" (this is for button changes, filters, etc.) and "System Configuration". Try your actual monitor/tv settings to fix the alignment.
PS3 players can always use PSN voice chat to communicate with other PS3 players. Honestly I feel like implementing a cross PC/PS3 voice chat would just stir our already bubbling issue pot.

Communication:
The problem is voice chat. There is no Skype on PS3 (While, PS ViTA has skype). By the way, I solve problem by using skype on my Laptop.
Gameplay:
It's very difficult to target enemy. For example, you are attacking 1 enemy and, another 2 enemies show up and attack you. With 4-D pad, you have to select one by one until you target. That's quite suffer. But it's not big problem at all.
TV Screen:
This problem, I really concern about it. Since, the game screen doesn't fit with my TV Screen (I play other games, they fits my screen). And, I don't know how to solve this problem. If someone from SQ-EX see my post, please consider about this.
Conclusion:
Overall, I quite impress about the gameplay (except server lock). And, I enjoy play this game. However, I wait for world transfer in nearly future, I will transfer my character to play with my friends again.

Most people these days have tablets or smartphones near them while playing anyways. What would be great is if XIV:ARR had an App that let you store all your gearsets on the Tablet and change them via it.
Most games tend to stay in the 'Safe-Zone' and not go into the 'Overscan'. SE tried to get as much as they could on the screen at one time, and so used the Overscan area as well. You can manually change the HUD settings (and you can click and drag the Chat-window via Mouse-mode) to be able to move it and expand/compress it.Communication:

As a beta tester since p3 on the PS3, the targeting has not changed much since the then if at all. Still a pain in the ass to target party members as a healer especially in fates with 10 or more people. But its the PS3 people it can't run as well as custom built gaming comps but it holds up pretty well and I can play it lying down which is a plus for me since I sometimes marathon a weekend farming or grinding. The voice chat thing not sure what to make of it but you can pretty much tell a player by their equipment and their setup how they will play
Don't worry the Ps4 update will be much better I am guessing. so just hold on a few months haha
