I do not expect anything to be fixed unless JPN is affected. All we will likely get is another " i am sorry" post. It reminds me of this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9u0EL_u4nvw

I gotta say I LEGITIMATELY believed in SE this time. I thought after the ATROCITY that was FFXIV 1.0 I thought the lessons would be learned and this launch would be perfect and beautiful. This is an absolute travesty and an insult to customers worldwide.
Not only are we losing time we have actually paid money for, because early access wasn't free. But also, we're being made to play second best while all the Japanese servers are running smoothly. It's evident that the JP side of things have been given more attention, and its annoying me personally that all we get is a cookie cut message saying that they appreciate our patience and that they're sorry.
Apologies were made for the LAST big mistake. Now it's time to sort this crap out. The game is amazing. Make it work.

Did we spend money to purchase the software? Yes. Have we paid for the subscription fee? No. Is this a new MMO launch? Yes. Should you expect it to be perfect going from a beta test environment to a live environment? Hell no. Square's communication with the players is pretty awful, that much can definitely be said. It's the same way when trying to receive support for one issue or another (talking about problems outside of 90000 and 10102). Things are broken, that's the way it is. The only way to deal with hidden issues, or something that is plaguing your system that couldn't be caught during a beta is to launch it and catch it on a live server. In the meantime, we knew ahead of time we were buying into a brand new product. This isn't FF14. This is FF14 ARR, not a product in use for the past year. There are going to be issues, that's a fact. Live with it, threaten to un-sub or not subscribe at all. Go ahead. It won't change the process of working issues out of a game that has been live for a whopping 31 hours. /endrant

I really feel that they just don't care what's going on with the NA/EU server. We are on the back burner and they will just let the NA/EU populations thin out.

id like them to track down the crashing issues as well
It was great in the first few betas, I wasn't here for beta 4 so I kind of screwed myself by not creating a character on Leviathan. Been refreshing server list every 3 minutes since start of early access.
What's the sense of starting a character when you'll have to re-roll on their server when available, and you can't start a free company since your community of friends are separated.
I can understand server maintenance, and getting people to start on lower pop servers, but I would expect to have a plan in place so that friends can finally get together without paying for transfers down the road. All and all its time for a beer break. If you want to join us at http://albedo.guildlaunch.com/ we are there but not doing much gaming do to the servers lol
On the bright side, at least I've had a chance to shower this weekend. Had this release gone perfectly I'd be stinkin' pretty bad right about now.![]()

This can be said to a certain degree, but you are forgetting the fact that we've had more downtime and inability to play in our "early access" that we were granted as an incentive (bonus), for pre-ordering. I've stood behind SE for at least 2 of the 4 maintenances now. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.Did we spend money to purchase the software? Yes. The point being is that no matter what way you all sit here and defend them or put it... you're only defending the actions of a company that deserves the criticism. I'm not deconstructing SE, I'm merely saying GIVE US ACTUAL ANSWERS as to what is going on.
So you can ride the high horse all you want and act like you're holier than thou because of the fact most MMO releases now are flawed and garbage as hell, but honestly... this is the SECOND time around for SE. I gave them a chance with the first two maintenances and the problems afterwards... it's time for them to step up and take some responsibility and give us answers and actually fix the problems... not just keep saying "oh there seems to be a problem!" Well no shit sherlock. What was your first indication on that one?
My point is valid and you can argue it till hell freezes over if you want. Won't do you any good riding SE's dong of injustice forever. Yes, I'm upset now because this is day 2/3 of the Early Access period and we're still unable to actually enjoy a working product. All I'm merely asking for is some legitimate answers as to what is ACTUALLY going on. I think WE ALL are entitled to at least that.

Based on your post, even if they did give you the more technical explanations of what is wrong you probably wouldn't understand it.I have this funny feeling you see... that the emergency maintenance will happen.... and my prediction is that: NOTHING WILL GET FIXED!
What do you guys think? It seems to be a repeat pattern. I've stood behind SE for quite some time now saying be patient but I think it's time that we all can say that our patience are wearing thin and it's time for SE to figure this out for real this time.
We've had more emergency maintenances than Rift had in the first day. Granted I was around and knew how horrible that launch was, but even they didn't have 3-4 in the first 26 hours....
It's time we were given some answers about what is actually going on instead of these run of the mill "trouble logging in" or "difficulties." We clearly know that. Give us some real damn answers about what is actually going on.
I have this funny feeling you see... that after the first month of free time you'll leave... and my prediction is that: NO ONE WILL CARE.
Just leave now.
So confused right now apparently Maintenance has finished, However Arrstatus says the world are offline. To top it all off when i log in i get the world is full have fun pushing buttons for an hour message. Dafuq is actually happening here
