    Why are ppl feel seperate content between "hard core" and "casual" players is fair?

    Also no mmo truely needs an AH. Pwi last I checked doesn't, has reported to have 50mil accounts. Its just a luxery imo. I seen games do well w/o them tbh.

    i like the wards system.
    about the names in AH, SE can allways add a name tag to the retainers shop so you can see who the retainer belongs to.
    i'm also not troubled with moving to different wards to get what i'm looking for.

    what i can imagine which could be troublesome at some point is the future addition of main towns.
    in FFXI the AHs that weren't connected to other towns (Sandy/Bastok/Windy) were okay for beginners to find small things.
    at some point you were mainly visiting Whitegate/Jeuno to get what you're looking for.

    the point with FFXIV tho is, there is no real beginning area.
    as soon as new towns come, even more wards will get introduced, but where will you put your retainer in the end?
    traveling between towns might be easy with anima, but it can get annoying at some point to allways have to travel between towns to just get a single material.
    and connecting wards so you can access ishgard from ul'dah would also be a lil strange.

    either ways, AH or wards, i'm cool with both.

    you have a point about competition but tbh it promotes frustation more than competition, hopefully they can came up with something that can promotes competition. something like Ixion with faster repop timer, he run accross the zone so you cant really camp him, people needs to run around and good coordination of holding parties.


    also i agree with AH being one of the feature that needs to be implemented, when i got home from work and daily chores, i want to have fun playing the game, walking to retainers that is very laggy isn't fun at all, also you need to look up the retainers name as well, usually i forgets as i enter the wards and had to reuse search menu again to make sure which retrainers was it.... both wards and AH has pros and cons, im fine with keeping both.

    1.AH:
    No, We don't need an Auction House, And we do not need Price Histories, They get abused. And then people complain because of "Undercutting" which is a natural progression of economics. As soon as someone can make an item for cheaper and still profit they will. If they can then your overcharging for the item its not that they are undercutting you.
    This problem stems from the inability to make an item more enticing through marketing. Which in the real world is why things like the iPod still sell more then cheaper MP3 competitors. You have to realize this and not get angry and evolve as the economy evolves. The only time you should get upset is when Someones buying up all the Cheap items to sell them at their price. Thats monopolization and is a true negative.


    2. Better transportation:

    Crags were a FFXI STORYLINE ITEM not specifically made for teleporting. Teleporting came later. We already have Teleport and Teleport Points in the Aetheryte. Removing it to place it into the skill system make it so you'd have to assign the skill, wait the cool down before teleporting, or have a teleport skill wasting your AP on the bar. Worthless.
    The teleport system is fine.

    We do need a Chocobo system. Preferably one where were raise our own.

    We also need Airships. Then adjust the Teleport system to work around them.

    3. Time =/= Competition or Difficulty. Instead if you want to you make a fight be difficult you should implement things like an Arena where there are rules about combat that are not normal to standard world combat.

    Things like When your in the arena:
    • HP/MP no longer regenerate when out of combat, you have to manage yourself properly for the fight.
    • Hate covers the whole arena, any action performed in the arena has the potential to gain hate even if the monster is on the other side of the Arena. IE Kiting does not work.
    • Once in the arena you can't change your class/stats/equipment you are locked in for the fight.

    3. Unique Job Classes:

    The current Classes are not "Jobs" they are also not Role Based. Gladiator is NOT a tank, he is simply a Sword User.
    SE has already state they are implementing the JOB system to COMPLIMENT the ARMOURY system not replace it, or trump it.

    With the Armoury/Job systems working in Synergy you have the potential for things like:
    • Gladiator-Sentinel/Paladin - A Sword and Shield Wielding tank who focuses more on defense power.
    • Lancer/Paladin - A Spear wielding Tank who focuses more on dealing damage to maintain hate
    • Thaumaturge/Paladin - A Magic wielding Tank who focuses on Holy magic and healing to counter the damage they take on in defense of the party.
    • or
    • Pugilist/Monk - a Martial Arts fighter who uses fists (AND kicks through a job trait) and focuses on vitality to deal damage over their strength. Getting bonuses to their attack power based on Vitality.
    • Pugilist/Thief - a Subterfuge specialist who wields fist weapons so they can keep themselves in close to the target of their Steals, Mugs, and Hate/Crowd control kill.


    4.Crafting: Good Job
    Agreed.

    5. Making more content around Questing / Explore:

    Agreed for the most part. I like the way questing is going now, But I'd prefer it if we had long cutscenes where you really engaged with the person giving you the quest similar to how it was in XI when you talked to people like Shantotto and the Star Onion Brigade.

    6. Delivery and Trading System

    Agreed. We do need a mailbox system.

    Addendum 7. Environmental Enhancements

    We need a lot of new details added to the Environment to make them stand out more and become more unique. Things like non-combative wildlife, Lizards, birds, insects, etc. Plants that interact with players when they get close (Like from avatar lol) seeds and other effects floating in the sky etc.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.
