Wow.... you are serious ?Mob rule is a perfectly fine way to enforce rules in a MMO. We should decide what kinds of players we do and don't play with, because their playstyle impinges on our game.
If we don't want to play with players who 10-box clones for gil or gain, then so be it. Perfectly fine. We have more say than them. If we consider them a threat to our entertainment, they need to find another MMO to 10-box.
Same way with how hardcore or casual you want to make your game. You're telling SOMEONE, somewhere to walk on by and keep looking.
Tell 10-boxers to kindly leave, because we don't really want them around playing like freaks.
On initial gut reaction, taking a cruise to Haiti shortly after the earthquake seems wrong, Objectively speaking, you are doing more good by taking the cruise than not.
In the same way, you are doing more good by banning all these 10-boxing cloners than letting them have the right to play. Does it feel like 1984? A little. Is it? No. It's a good move.
Get rid of them. See who actually complains.
