Delete them. Add the jobs everyone is here for.

Those jobs have no role in the final fantasy world. Never did. And they won't.

Gladiator was a mistake. Marauder was an error. Pugilist is a disgrace to the series.

A lot of my Favorite Job combinations in XI were frowned upon in "Normal Parties" yes, but they had their place in the game.

White Mage/Paladin - Tank and Main Healer for Bones Parties full of Monks.
Red Mage / War - Tanking for certain slow attack mobs and for Mage Burn Parties.
War / Ranger - Tanking and participating in Arrow Burn Parties (Normally doing more damage then Rangers LOLZ)

How is a Paladin/Gladiator a More Generic Job?

Its a Tank that uses a Sword.

Thats pretty Specific.

Again Adding Weapon Classes just adds more skills and a new weapon for users to use. Adding More Jobs adds new ways to perform specific Roles.
