I rushed up through Phase 3, but during Phase 4, I took my time and I plan to keep that pace during EA and launch.

Lol my FC is planning on level 50 dungeon grinds come the moment the game goes live.
I'm all for enjoyment, but for me, the enjoyment is conquering new enemies.
In my opinion, the feeling you get from immersing yourself in the rich lore and main story of this game(and the beautiful world SE has created)
is more important than getting number 50 on my char sheet.
I wish I could tell some people that they're missing out on a great experience but hey, we're all different and I understand that for some,
it's all about maxing out and clearing the latest/hardest content. That's what makes this game so great, the diversity.
Anyway, if you're slowly going mad waiting for tomorrow or just want to read up on the history of Eorzea before the floodgates open,
I highly recommend this article on gamerescape. It's very well written and summarizes everything very neatly.

I am going to enjoy the ride, no need to be in a hurry to play keep up.
It's a game, and games are to be enjoyed.

Agree. I will take the time that it takes. We have 3 months until raid content, so why rush. Plus, I want to keep my Gathering (at least one of the profs) semi close to my combat level, so that will take some time.

Not with you there. I payed for this game monthly thus I must rush it.

With you on this one. TOme to slow down. Take it all in. Read and watch cutscenes, and take the story in. I'm the type that doesn't mind people watching cutscenes either. Unless it affect tme on battle but they seem to stop that until all are in.
I never got people that just rush through an mmo like this. Like there's some kind of pot'o gold at the end.
Usually it's those people that rush through it and get to the end quickly that turn around and start to complain that there's not enough "end game."
I always take my time playing an mmo, I plan to constantly switch classes and levle them up near each other so when I get to 30 I can unlock more jobs at once and have more options and take my time finding out what I like.
