Who else is planning to take their time?

Don't know about you guys but I felt like each alpha/beta phase needed to be played to the extreme due to the short periods of gametime.

Those week-long waits between phases made me crazy, so I kept jumping into each new one, trying to do everything at once before the servers went back down. I clicked through quests, raced through areas, spammed my skills and 'sold sold sold' to NPCs

In the last few days I see some people desperate to race to 50 and that's cool, plus of course, many legacy folks are already there. However, am I in the minority if I say I'm looking forward to taking my time with early access?

I can't wait to play tomorrow, sit back with a glass of chilled beer and read through the storyline, explore the wilds, wander through the cities, smell the roses!

I agree with you, it's time to slow down and enjoy the experience now...for me atleast.

I'm with you. It's such an awesome game, I want to make it last as long as I can.
I have five characters so far, I plan to play all of them.

Me i'm going to get my arc to 50 first before i do something else, not saying i'm rushing but still going at it quite fast, taking the main quest line slowly though
then the other classes will be going slowly to 20 then 30,....

Yeah i plan on lvling WHM,SCH,BLM,BRD,(PLD or WAR) and then planning on geting at least 2 crafts up and then going to join an endgame shell.So gonna be a long time.Most of the time i am a rusher but my friends will be starting off playing with me so i can enjoy the slower pace with them.

I can't wait to finally read the CS been skipping them all. Whereas the wife has been ooh n aweing through them all but fortunately will not tell me what she knows.

Yup, I can finally take it slow. Finally, FFXIV is here to be enjoyed any time, any day, all day... XD

While I won't be rushing, I won't slow down to a crawl. I do like to play games to their full extent, how I do also like to get to max level and experience end game. With this games unique leveling experience, I hope to get my main (Glad) to 50 within a reasonable amount of time so I can experience everything. Other classes I will likely level much slower.

Not going to skip forward and rush nor play slow...will just take it as it comes and enjoy.

There is plenty of time to play this game.
