Oh well, then you're fine. I think we were assuming that you had some sort of problem. Carry on.
Ah I see. Does everyone here have an SE account?I think I may have figured some things out.
First off, if you purchased the CE or the Standard Edition from the Playstation Store, it will say both at check-out and on your playstation account that you have Early Access.
You must have a SE account before logging into the game to link your PSN account to your SE one. You can do that from here.
Once you have created an account, or after you log into your current account, it will take you through a service agreement.
After you accept the agreement you will see a screen with two options. One will state that you have a permanently active service for the FFXIV Beta, and you can select that one and hit next. The other option is to add a new service account. If you're unaware of how SE accounts and account services work, you can read up here. Now, here's where it gets tricky. I added new service account, rather than selecting the beta account. Rather than getting the "No valid account" error, it just states that the servers aren't available and to wait until they are. I'm assuming the reason for this is because I created a new account, and that those that are seeing the error selected the beta one?
The confusion with this is whether or not we'll be able to access our beta characters from this "beta service" account. If it winds up being a problem, they did say that will offer a one-time service to allow people to transfer the game into the correct service account; http://support.jp.square-enix.com/fa...la=1&kid=68218.
The 20 digit codes are redeemed at https://secure.square-enix.com/accou...arlytop?rgn=na
I'm sure eventually you can use the launcher, but early access will probably be over by then.

They would have to have an SE account to be posting here though....![]()
Ok whatever. The website is obviously not working for many people so I was just trying to point out another possibility. Even though the other path given looks like it is not functional either it might be fixed if people made them aware it is broken. The 20 digit codes are redeemed at https://secure.square-enix.com/accou...arlytop?rgn=na

It's a bit old, but I think the information is still relevant.
Cautions
If you participated in the FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta, a FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Service Account should be present under your SQUARE ENIX account. This FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Service Account can be transferred to the official release.
* Note that this FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Service Account by itself does not allow for play.
Please be aware that if you register any bonus item codes to your FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Service Account, you will not be able to redeem those items unless you transfer that FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Service Account to the official release.
Once you enter the registration code included with your game, you will be able to choose whether you want to transfer your FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Service Account to the official release or if you want to create a new FINAL FANTASY XIV Service Account. Please take care not to select the option to create a new FINAL FANTASY XIV Service Account unless you wish to lose all character information tied to your FINAL FANTASY XIV Open Beta Service Account.
So, if we created a new service account, we'll have to ask support to fix it. Fix it here; http://support.jp.square-enix.com/fa...la=1&kid=68218
I feel like Square Enix is just trolling us.

Ok, I AM legacy 1.0, I have long ago registered the game, played most of the betas, have an active service account, use the PC yet still receive the 'no active service account message' what does that mean then?
No, but I think it's what you said. During P4, I agreed to the ELUA(Whatever). Now, I downloaded the new patcher(08/22/13) and agreed to everything, but upon agreeing, I got the "No valid". I think you're right though, when it's time, we will get in because its in our PSN accounts. I just want to be certain because I'm not seeing the "Come back later".
Yeah, under my account, it just say Beta dated at July 14th which is P3. The thing is, I was in P4(Open) and nothing changed under my Service Account. It still say Beta, July 14th.Here we are! http://support.na.square-enix.com/fa...2&la=1&ret=faq

This sucks. I was told in the beta forums that you cannot have two PC accounts, so some one with 1.0 would have to get the PS3 version to get EA. I guess it's not a huge deal, but I did specifically cancel my PC preorder because of this information.
Why not let the 1.0 people have EA even if they registered on the PS3? Information is there.
"You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means."
Well I found this in searching and I can only hope:
Players Who Own FFXIV Version 1.0
Players who own FFXIV version 1.0 will not need to purchase the PC version of FFXIV: ARR and will be able to download the FFXIV: ARR software for free.
* Details on downloading the FFXIV: ARR software will be provided at a later date.
Furthermore, users who have version 1.0 registration codes that have not yet been registered will be able to register them and play FFXIV: ARR on PC at the start of the service.
