Preorder bonus items and Early access

How would I go about adding the preorder bonus items and early access to a preexisting 1.0 collectors edition (non-legacy) account?

If it is just as simple as adding a 2.0 standard edition digital preorder code to the account, how do I go about doing that when the account page I have always used (located here: https://secure.square-enix.com/accou...n?cont=account) does not appear to be linked to my new account page (located here: http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/)?

That old account page isn't going to be used for ARR. Starting on release day (AUG 27) we will be using the Mog Station(new website under maintenance) to manage FFXIV accounts. I registered my code for ARR standard edition on the pre-order site for NA and I have a 1.0 CE also. When you register the code it will briefly take you to some pages that are part of the old account system(they'll look different but check the address bar). When I was finished it listed under permanent options FFXIV ARR CE, as well as Onion Helm, and under a different area of the same page it showed the pre-order items for Mog Helm and Cait Sith(Note that for now you'll only see this page while registering, so do a screen capture and save it).

i have 2 EA codes registered on my psn account, because GameStop gave me a backup code and with all these errors i thought i lost my first one and it turns out i didn't.

Though there is an option at release for Legacy players to upgrade to a digital collector's edition for about $20 USD. So I'm wondering if through that would we get the pre-order bonus items or is that just not plausible? I know that it includes the collector's edition digital items, but I'm unsure about the actual pre-order items themselves. (Seeing as this option isn't available until the game's release.)

Just ordered my copy through the SE shop and everything you posted worked great.

Assuming the preorder bonus items are redeemed from codes, you could preorder a copy of the game yourself or have a friend who's buying the game and doesn't care about the preorder bonus items to get the codes. And then just apply the codes to your own account for the items.

I still haven't received my EA code. I bought the game through SE's shop in early June. It's now less than 48h before EA begins, so I'm just wondering if I should be worried (hence if I should contact SE's support). Are there any of you guys in the same situation?

I pre-ordered on SE shop too in may and at my confirmation page I had a product code. I used it this morning on the pre order site to finally get my game key for the launcher to update.

That digital upgrade does not include the Cait Sith or Mog Helm, those are for pre-orders only. If you want those your best option would probably be to order from SE directly before launch day, some retailers seem to have run out of codes.
