If you pre order the game do you get separate codes for the bonus items and the game? I'm hearing there is only 1 code for both.

Hopefully we do not run into any problems

I received only one code, it granted early access as well as the mog helm and cait sith doll. If you pre-ordered a box copy the CD key is still separate.

If you bought from NA SE store, the EA code is in the bottom of your Order Confirmation email.I still haven't received my EA code. I bought the game through SE's shop in early June. It's now less than 48h before EA begins, so I'm just wondering if I should be worried (hence if I should contact SE's support). Are there any of you guys in the same situation?
If you bought from EU SE store, you'll be receiving the 20 digit PC EA code directly from SE. There will be no need to go to the preorder code site.
Do you need a new service? Why not use your existing service? Service != character. You can delete that character and still use the old service, especially if you have 1.0 items tied to it like Asuran Armguards/Legacy status/Onion Help/etc.I too have a related question
PS3 user loaded up my client patched fine and the service questions start coming
it read as follows
OPTION "deleted characters name"
PERKS Mog Hat Sith Doll
OK?
or Create New Service? i clicked create new service (because the deleted character isnt my main obviously) and it listed to perks still... what have I just done? a mistake? or it didnt matter?
The perks are items you get from preorder code (along with early access).

the old service ONLY listed my deleted character, so whats gonna happen when I log in? is my main lost in limbo now? hahahaha oh man this sucks. or would it just default to my main since i have no other characters? my avatar worked just fine

Well I can tell you right now the answer isn't "create new service" b/c then you're thoroughly screwed. :P Your char's probably on your main service, though I don't know why it even shows any character. Maybe just for clarity that yes, this is your service? Mine didn't list any characters at all (registering on PC).

I'm totally confused by all of this . . . .
In the UK. Had a 1.0 account & played through 1.23 to server closure so got Legacy status (don't hate me!!!)
Pre-ordered the physical CE from Game UK for EA bonus items, & CE items. Have received the 6-3-6-3 code.
Can't access my old 1.0 account from the ARR "account" launcher because it says to go to the EU pre-order page, but that wants a 5-part code? If I manually enter the preorder.eu.finalfanyasyxiv.com address it takes me to a SE page that wants me to register all my personal info again, and tells me my screen name (registered to my SE account) is taken?!?!?!
I'm sure I'm not that dim-witted, I mean I built the PC I'm typing from & playing the game from! So why can't I find a simple means of entering my EA code for the items anywhere that links to my existing account, that I've used for Alpha & every Beta phase? And why can't I access any account info?

Collasunius, you need to have a http://eu.square-enix.com/en/home account to get the preorder code. This you can link to your https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app account so the login are the same. You put in your 6-3-6-3 code after you do the login stuff for http://preorder.eu.finalfanyasyxiv.com, THEN you'll get your 20 digit PC code (or your 12 digit PS3, since you got a CE?). It's a little convoluted but hopefully this helps!
Can anyone confirm whether the pre-order bonus items can be redeemed on multiple characters on the same account or are they for 1 character only?
