I thought we'd pop in an area similar to the Warriors of Light in the trailer, but meh =b It's nice to dream! I guess it doesn't really matter =)

From what I remember, we did pop where the trailer did. Except it was only as a short cutscene and then it puts us on the boat just like everyone else before handing over control of the character (in the city dictated by what class we chose at that log-in, not what we last logged off as).

I think this is all we're getting, and I don't foresee it changing in beta4, early access, or launch.
