When will we get the Legacy chocobos?

Hi guys,

Do we have any information on when we will receive or at-least see the legacy chocobos? As a Final Fantasy fan since 7; I love the idea of having different coloured chocobos however I have only seen yellow chocobos as of late.

Are we still scheduled to have these ready for release or will they come at a later time?

I was expecting to see "my Baby" at the start of the game, BEFORE THE INTRO! I remember the trailer when they showed off the exclusive chocobo... I WANTED TO RIDE INTO TOWN LIKE THAT! v.v;

...and my black, legacy chocobo better be female! That how the whole breeding begins- with Legacy players! ;D

When I re-started playing this game last summer (welcome back campaign) (played for 2 weeks @ launch and gave up), I quickly learned about the Legacy campaign.

Being an utter newb with no faith in ever obtaining a chocobo of my own, I was most excited about this Legacy Chocobo mount! It was actually my "reason" for grabbing a 90 day subscription before they stopped selling them. Crazy, right? (Little did I know that it would be over a year before any of this would finally come to an end.) Of course, I did end up getting my own chocobo (named Dobby) making lots of friends, joining a couple of great linkshells, and getting completely and utterly hooked on this game.

I can't thank that Legacy Chocobo enough for being the odd thing that "lured" me into Legacy, something that ended up having more rewards than many of us could have ever imagined. I'll need to start thinking of a good name for it.

As for the OP question, I agree with Nix. I think it will be delivered to us via moogle mail on release day, with all the other items we will be entitled to (CE items, pre-order items, previous items like garlond goggles, etc.)

Those are just standard yellow chocobos.

that's an awesome story man, sadly I missed legacy status myself by 1 week.

I would assume we will get them in the mail first day of early access. If not that than first day of official server release day. if not than, than i have no clue.

Unfortunately that was it. If you pay attention to the gear and not the chocobo itself. The chocobo the warrior hume is riding is wearing the same armor and the same as in the promo, though it's very difficult to see why it makes a difference now that Yoshi has introduced so many other mounts and bonuses and gave-aways to over-shadow it.



The class armor you can earn looks way better on a normal chocobo than a Legacy chocobo. Sadly, on the video, it doesn't emphasize what the chocobo will actually look like at launch(maybe it'll be yellow with black tips on its feathers, like the concept art).
